DescriptionThis is a comprehensive revision of Volume 2 of the classic reference series, Flora of New South Wales, produced in association with the Royal Botanic Gardens, Sydney. - The revision brings the work up to date by incorporating recent developments such as changes to species names, significant changes to classifications, as well as information on newly described plants. - Changes are integrated throughout the text. - The plates have also been updated. Important native groups covered in Volume 2 include the Myrtaceae (which includes the Eucalypts) and Proteaceae (which includes the Grevilleas, Banksia and the state floral emblem, the Waratah). Both groups have been significantly reorganised. |
