Rathlin Island is situated just off the north east coast of Northern Ireland and is inhabited by these very special hares. They are golden in colour with blue eyes; they are the most unusual creatures and look almost unreal. Angela Harding is a fine art painter and illustrator based in Rutland, UK. She specialises in lino prints and her work is inspired by British birds and countryside.
