Continuing their journey through the lands of Dikay, fighting evil stuff whenever it can be found (if only SK could find her memory as easily), VVH and SK encounter the first part of the larger, overriding evil that Rigor poses to the world. The apparent goal of all of this seems to be the destruction of King Utmos' efforts and return Dikay to its former evil glory. Not only does our favorite decaying jester, Laspo, return to wreak havock, but we meet the lovely, scantily armoured Adonette, the famous Necromancer, who treats her rotting zombie hordes as family. Between the ancient Legion of Evil, terror of the Hittite Empire, an unknown fear lurking in a secret labyrinth, and um...cookie-baking elves, Van Von Hunter and his sidekick are in more trouble than you can swing a sword at! Or a giant crossbow.
