Product Information

Sarah Maine was born in England but grew up partly in Canada, returning to the UK for university where she studied archaeology. This subject choice gave many opportunities for travel while working on excavations or carrying out research for her PhD. Vacations were spent lecturing for adventure travel companies in Europe and Canada, but her working life has been spent in York where she now lives with her family. Non-fiction writing has been central to her work, but fiction writing is a new departure with The House Between the Tides being her debut novel.
